We recently spent the week in Grand Isle and stayed at the Sandbar Living location. All of us were really pleased with this location. Everything was clean and the kitchen was probably the best equipped of all of the camps we have stayed at in the past, even down to having an electric fryer for our catch. The location would be wonderful for someone with children as the water in front of the camp is shallow and had no waves to fight. The only thing that would make this better is if there was an elevator. Thoroughly enjoyed the week!

Wow what an incredible place! Hagans Chasing Tail in Grand Isle was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we could possibly need. The location is absolutely unbeatable literally right on the beach! We loved waking up to the sound of the waves and having coffee while watching the sunrise over the Gulf. Everything about our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and just perfect from start to finish. You can tell that the Hagans truly cares about their guests experience, and it shows in every detail of the home. If youre planning a trip to Grand Isle, do yourself a favor and book Chasing Tail you wont regret it! Were already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a great time and the house was perfect for our needs. The location was perfect because of the proximity to the beach access and also because the rest of our family was staying across the street at Family Tides.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great with easy beach access right across the street. The home looks as it does in the photos and met our needs nicely. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We traveled with our dog, which we do often, and I appreciated that the home provided a food and water bowl for the dog. Its a small thing we appreciated. The AC works well. The previous renters misplaced the key to the outside storage unit and they called us to let us know just before check in time and they were able to get it unlocked and get us a new key quickly. We would stay here again.

This camp is in a great spot for fishing Grand Isle. Its right across from an opening in the marsh, so you can easily shoot into a protected run if the weather turns bad, or make a quick and mostly sheltered run over to Bridgeside Marina. Way easier than staying on the island. Plenty of room to keep two boats at the dock, theres a solid cleaning station, and the camp itself is super comfortable and easy to stay in.
